Mechanism of action of Levelel:
Seizure control by affecting the synaptic vesicle protein called SV2A and controlling the release of neurotransmitters into the synaptic space.
Uses of Levelel:
Single-drug treatment of epilepsy (monotherapy), multi-drug treatment of epilepsy (polytherapy), reduction and control of local seizures (with or without secondary generalized seizures), primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, myoclonic seizures in myoclonic epilepsy of children and adolescents
Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding Levelel:
Pregnancy: Levetiracetam should not be used during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
Breastfeeding: Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment with this medicine.
Regarding the correct way to use this medicine, pay attention to the following points:
Lotirastam can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. Swallow the tablets whole and avoid chewing and crushing them.
Levebel drug interactions:
The pharmacokinetic interaction of lotirastam with anticonvulsants (such as: carbamazepine, gabapentin, lamotrigine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, pyrimidone, valproic acid), digoxin, oral contraceptives and warfarin is unlikely, the pharmacokinetic interaction of lotirastam or probenecid has no clinical significance. In order to prevent possible interactions between several medications, inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medications, even those that do not require a prescription. Swallow the tablets whole and avoid chewing and crushing them.
Precautions Levelel:
Dosage adjustment is recommended in the presence of the following medical conditions:
– Kidney failure
– Acute liver failure If you notice slow growth with unexpected signs of puberty in a child, inform the doctor. If you notice an increase in the severity of the disease (for example, an increase in the number of attacks), please inform the doctor.
A small number of people treated with antiepileptic drugs such as levetiracetam may experience suicidal thoughts. If you have symptoms of depression and suicidal ideation, please inform your doctor.

Hypersensitivity to levetiracetam
