Card 1. DROP IT (S. Choquette: The Answer is Simple oracle cards)

Use the time to finish your projects and reevaluate your business or business idea before starting anything new.

Business direction and decision:

This card comes as a signal that you should wait to make major decisions and not start anything new if you don`t have to. Mercury stays retrograde until Tuesday, November 3. Mercury is the planet situated closest to the Sun and its orbit is much shorter than Earth’s. About three or four times a year, Mercury speeds past Earth, and that is when we experience a Mercury retrograde period.

Mercury rules all types of communication, including listening, speaking, learning, reading, editing, researching, negotiating, selling, and buying. Mercury also rules all formal contracts and agreements, as well as important documents such as book manuscripts or term papers, agreements, deeds, contracts, leases, wills, and so forth.

Included under this planet’s domain are all types of code, including computer codes, as well as transportation, shipping, and travel. When this planet retrogrades, these areas tend to get scrambled or spin out of control.

Mercury rules anything that begins with “re”: redo, reassess, repair, repeat, redesign, or revisit. It does sometimes show us things we need to redo, fix, or change completely. So rather than being frustrated when you realize something needs to be rebuilt, think of it as an opportunity to create something even better than you would have before.

Mercury Retrograde has a way of opening our eyes up to what we were unable, unwilling, or just too busy before to see. This makes Mercury retrograde a wonderful time to review what you are doing. Rather than jumping into something new, it’s a great time to finish up existing projects, refine and make your existing work better, and reveal solutions and innovations where you may have felt blocked or stagnated before.

Retrogrades are an opportunity to slow down and shift your focus inward. Sometimes stepping out of your normal routine (as Mercury may trigger for you) is the best way to refresh yourself, gain a deeper understanding, or see things in a new way. It may also be easier to see things from another vantage, or another person’s perspective… Or during Mercury Retrograde subconscious issues and patterns may come up for you to review, reflect upon, and resolve.

Mercury Retrograde is in Scorpio, a water sign, so use your intuition. Research can be driven by the way questions are asked, so if your research says to go a certain way, but your intuition tells you to reject the research, follow your gut. Intellect can only get us so far; often our emotional intelligence is more accurate. When Mercury retrogrades are in a water sign, it’s an instant signal to start listening to that small voice within.

This is a great time to reflect on your business or business dream. And make sure to get some rest and healing as well.

Mercury is Retrograde until November 3. and it is the perfect time to practice patience, to reflect on your life, and what you’re working on, to finish your current projects. Mercury retrograde encourages us to focus on the type of old business, which could stimulate growth and forward movement in the long-run.

Take some time this week to reflect on your business dreams to see if you need to redo or change anything, and practice finishing the projects you`ve started before undertaking any new.

Are you dreaming of turning a hobby into an occupation? This is possible if you devote time and energy to polishing your skills in this area. Visualize yourself enjoying the benefits of being successful in this endeavor. And reflect on which skills you should practice to succeed.

A little bit of time daily devoting to practicing a skill that will make you succeed will become a positive habit yielding positive results.

This card asks you to hold positive thoughts and feelings about yourself. I there`s something you need or want, hold a positive vision of yourself doing well.

If you expect success, you`ll have good results. Only think positive thoughts about yourself as:» I can do this,» and «I`m good at this.»

Belief means making a decision such as:» I can do this.» When you decide you can do it, instead of just trying, you are approaching the situation with confidence. It doesn’t matter if you are doing something new. What matters is that you believe that you can do it. You can do anything you truly believe you can do.

This is a good time to clear the blocks and heal the traumas that prevent you from believing in yourself and your ability to succeed.
