Light-winged messenger Mercury is the planet that swings closest to the Sun, speeding through a single sign of the Zodiac in around 3-4 weeks.

Under this sky, we all tend to get organized. You’ll likely find that the way you relate to people becomes highly efficient and no-nonsense - meetings finish in half their usual time, as agendas are run through and action points devised at lightning speed! There’ll rarely be time for sitting around, twiddling your thumbs.

Time To Get Busy

With Mercury in Virgo, admin tasks are unlikely to daunt you so if you’ve been putting off dealing with a stack of paperwork or thinning out your inbox, use the next few weeks to rattle through them both... all... everything in fact!

Keep Your Inner Control Freak In Check

But on the other hand, unless you're careful, you could start showing something of a control-freak streak (or worse still, experience yourself as the mercy of someone else’s!) Virgo likes to streamline everything and while this does have major benefits (by next month, SO much of life will flow like a dream!) the super-high level of perfectionism that this astrology tends to cause, will leave little room for the chaos and creativity that actually makes life exciting.

You may think your helping, but no-one likes being told they’re doing it wrong, so be tactful, and remember to keep stepping back to look at the big picture. This can all to easily get lost with Mercury in the sign of the maiden.

Embrace Your Inquisitive Mind

Like fellow earth signs Capricorn and Taurus, the energy of Virgo is thorough and systematic, so you’ll likely feel that inquisitive mind coming out to play over the next week or so. Figuring out how things work (and then figuring out ways to improve them) will feel like time well spent. And as a meticulous planner, with Virgo in town, you’ll want to make sure you’ve worked out the minutest details of life, work and, well, everything around you.

This would be a great time to undertake an overhaul of your workspaces (actual and virtual).... just check with your co-workers first if it's a shared office! Under this transit, you'll likely be undaunted by the hard work, have the honed and critical eye required AND the stamina to see it through to the end.
