Light-winged messenger Mercury is the planet that swings closest to the Sun, speeding through a single sign of the Zodiac in around 3-4 weeks.

Being direct and to-the-point is where quick-witted Mercury in Aries energy expresses best. So anyone who’s taking their merry time to make a point, or pontificating over their choices (enough already!) could risk your rolling eyes or even worse, the wrath of your impatient fury!

Deep Conversations

You’re probably unlikely to relish deep and intimate conversations with Mercury spinning through the sign of the ram. Connecting becomes quick and direct and decisions are made quickly. In fact, that is one of the very best things about this transit – without wasting time pondering on every possible outcome of a situation, life can move fast. BUT… without taking the time to examine all the details, some information can be overlooked. If too many moves are made in haste under this sky, you could find you’re retracing your steps in months to come, figuring which was the moment you went just a little too far off-piste.

New ideas come to the surface

But on the bright side, expect to grasp new ideas quickly and adapt your opinions and approaches as new info comes to light. We all tend to think independently under this transit, so you’ll want to avoid spending too much time with other people who cramp your style and think they know better than you do (those dreaded know-it-alls). Without a great deal of self-restraint, discussions could end up getting heated and tempers frayed, if we each don’t get our chance to be heard during this time. The energy of Aries can also be quite competitive, so finding gentle ways to exercise this oppositional streak (without it coming to blows) will help to keep the drama down and the dopamine high.
